What MoonPath collects

Robotic Genius does not collect personal information from MoonPath. The app has no account, advertising, cross-app tracking, third-party analytics, telemetry service, marketing SDK or Robotic Genius-operated server.

Information you may enter

You may optionally enter a birth date, birth time and birthplace to calculate a Western tropical Sun sign and natal Moon sign, then compare them with the current Moon in My Sky. These details are stored locally on your device. MoonPath remains usable without entering them.

Preferences, onboarding state and notification choices are also stored locally using Apple platform storage.

Location

MoonPath may request When In Use location permission when you open local-sky features. Coordinates are used for on-device moonrise, moonset, transit, altitude, azimuth and horizon calculations. MoonPath does not transmit coordinates to Robotic Genius.

Apple Location Services and Apple’s system geocoder may be used by iOS to obtain your location and resolve a human-readable place name. Their operation is governed by Apple’s privacy policies and device settings.

Notifications and access

Optional New Moon and Full Moon reminders are calculated and scheduled locally through Apple’s notification system.

Downloading or opening MoonPath does not start the seven-day full preview. After MoonPath shows the access terms, you may choose to activate the preview as a free non-consumable through Apple’s StoreKit. Its start date comes from Apple’s verified transaction rather than an automatic local or Keychain timer. Activating the preview does not begin a subscription and cannot cause a later charge.

The lifetime unlock is a separate one-time non-consumable purchase. It is A$7.99 in the Australian storefront; Apple displays the price and currency applicable to other storefronts before confirmation. Apple processes both StoreKit transactions and maintains their entitlements. Robotic Genius does not receive your payment details. Basic widgets and Apple Watch glances remain available after the full preview ends.

Sale, advertising and sharing

Robotic Genius does not sell personal information, use it for advertising, or share it with data brokers. MoonPath does not use information for cross-app tracking.

Removing your information

You can edit or clear optional birth information from My Sky or Settings. You can revoke location or notification permission in iOS Settings. Deleting MoonPath removes its locally stored app information from the device, subject to ordinary Apple backup behaviour. StoreKit transaction records remain with Apple so eligible access can be restored.
