Next Up is designed to work without an account, without ads, and without selling personal data.

Information stored by the app

Countdowns you create are stored on your device. The app also stores a small amount of shared local data so Home Screen and Lock Screen widgets can show your countdowns.

If you choose a photo or image for a countdown, that image is stored locally on your device for countdown and widget display. Next Up does not upload those images to Robotic Genius.

If you choose to use reminders, Next Up schedules local notifications on your device. Notification permission is requested only when needed for reminders you create.

Optional device access

Next Up may ask for access to photos so you can choose countdown backgrounds. The app includes permission descriptions for calendar, reminder, and contact birthday importing, and any such access is used only when you choose to import events into the app.

The current app does not require an account, does not include advertising, and does not include third-party analytics or tracking SDKs.

If you email support@roboticgenius.com, Robotic Genius uses the information you provide only to respond to your support request, investigate bugs, or understand feedback you choose to send.

Data sharing and sale

Robotic Genius does not sell personal data. Next Up does not show ads and does not use tracking for advertising.

Apple may process App Store downloads, purchases, crash diagnostics, and system-level information under Apple’s own terms and privacy policy.
